The Citizens Redistricting Commission has approved a State Senate District for San Jose that incorporates much of Santa Clara County, including parts of San Jose and all of Saratoga, Cupertino, Campbell and Los Gatos. The district will be numbered SD15 and be on the ballot in 2012.

In his 30+ years of elected office, Jim Beall has represented most of the communities that make up SD15. In addition to his hometown of San Jose, Jim has represented Saratoga, Campbell and parts of Los Gatos. In fact, Jim has represented 45% of the district, or nearly 175,000 registered voters, significantly more than any other Member of the Assembly.
